Happy days at the junction!

Many's the laugh I had with Paddy! I so looked forward to his trips home to Camp. Sometimes he would arrive unexpectedly and his smile as he opened the door would light up the whole bar. He was always happy to come home,And we were always happy to welcome him. Paddy had a natural charm which endeared him to everyone; young and old alike. Always a kind word, a gentle laugh, a roguish smile; A natural way of making people feel content and comfortable in his company. And being in his company was easy and wonderful and meaningful. I don't remember him coming home very much during my earlier years at the Junction and of course the reason being Him and his lovely Bridie were busy rearing their children Maurice Eileen Patrick and Caroline. The high town as we know it seems lonely now. Alas! The Junction Bar is lonely too because Paddy won't be visiting. But we've got lovely happy memories to keep and treasure. Many, many of them! Our trip around Slea Head when we stopped at Paudi O' Shea's. And our day out around The Ring of Kerry when Jack rang the pub to see why you weren't coming home. We laughed and laughed and laughed. Now You and Maurice Griffin are laughing and Paudi just threw in the ball. The game will never. Be over and the ball will never burst
